Permanent Representation of the Republic of Kalmykia Representation at the President of Russian Federation is an executive organ of the Republic of Kalmykia which is to coordinate joint activity of both Federative state organs and the Republic of Kalmykia's.

The Representation acts in accordance with the Constitution of the Russian Federation and Stepnoye Ulozheniye (Basic Law) of the Republic of Kalmykia as well as Russian Federation and Kalmykia's Legislation and by decrees of Russia's and Kalmykia's Presidents and resolution of the Governments of Russian Federation and the Republic of Kalmykia.

The Representation carries out joint activity of the President staff, Russia's Government, Federal Law organs and basic state power organs of the subjects of Russian Federation is socio-economic and cultural development of the Republic of Kalmykia.

The Representation carries out missions of the President of Kalmykia and mission of the Vice-President as well as the head of the President's administration.

The Representation works out the proposals on further improvement in interaction of both state power of the Republic of Kalmykia and Federal State Power.

The Representation participates in those meetings of Federation power divisions about all the affairs of the Republic of Kalmykia on behalf of the President of Kalmykia, its Parliament (Khural) and Administration.

The Representation promotes Foreign economic Relations, helps in developing trade - economic science - technical, cultural and humanitarian cooperation of the Republic of Kalmykia with state Power divisions of Moscow and Moscow Regions as well as with Representation of subjects of Russian Federation.

The Representation renders an assistance arranging exhibitions in Moscow of products made in Kalmykia.

The Representation arranges the performances of artistic groups of the Republic of Kalmykia and finds obtions for professional training of the specialists from Kalmykia at Moscow and other educational centres of Russian Federation.

Information staff at the Representation is in charge of the work connected with giving visas and arranging official Foreign visits of delegations and legal entyties of the Republic of Kalmykia.
